Responsibilities:

• Exams: Perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams
  
  
  
  • Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment
  
  
  • Range of motion testing, muscle strength testing, and evaluating traumatic brain injury
  
  
  • No prescribing or treatment involved
  
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in any of the following specialties:
  
  
  
  • Neurology
  
  
  • Neurosurgery
  
  
  • PM&R (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation)
  
  
  
  


• Experience:
  
  
  
  • Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio conditions required
  
  
  • Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions
  
  
  
  


• Equipment: Must own a personal laptop (NO Apple Laptops/MACs)


• Certification: DMA certification available (can get CME credits) - will need to obtain once privileged if not already certified


• Tools: Use of Goniometer required

Training:

• Training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)


• Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion - no narrative report required


• Evaluations to be completed in provider portal and records are reviewed
